Travelling for work in the UK right now - anyone have suggestions on a chocolate we don’t have in North America to try?
@thecodingbeard Cadburies is ok. Thornton's is decent. The best though is Latvian but you won't be able to get Laima in the UK.
Go into any newsagent or shop and look at the sweet counter.
Yorkie, Turkish Delight, Lion, Toblerone, Double Decker etc. There's a lot to try and choose from.
@BritishTechGuru @thecodingbeard
or try some goog chocolate, e.g.:

Or follow the Cocoa Runners guide to visit the UK:

@BritishTechGuru got myself some top deck and regret nothing! Thanks
@thecodingbeard I haven't had Top Deck in decades. That and Shandy. Both were pretty good.
@thecodingbeard Ooh. Crikey... The Top Deck chocolate bar. Now that's new. I've not tried that. I was thinking of Top Deck pop which is still sold in the Caribbean but went off sale in the UK in the 80s.
